Eatin’ good in my hood

I’ve discovered the recipe section on Cooking Light Magazine’s website. I used to use the All Recipes site pretty heavily, but lately it seems like all their recipes are combining cans of Kraft shit.

I made a couple of recipes from the Cooking Light site already, and they seem alright. I made a couple of rice and pasta dishes which were good. The recipes aren’t really complex which is nice, especially since I tend to modify them to my own tastes and what I have handy. I have some Hoisin-Marinated Pork Chops waiting at home for me and the grill tonight. I’ll think about ’em the whole bus ride home.

  1. Cooking Light? I can understand a desire to eat healthy, but damn, Nick…If you lose any weight, you’re going to look like Stephen King’s Thinner come to life. Go get a Double King Fat Burger, stick boy. 😛

  2. I don’t really do it to lose any weight. I just try to cut down on unhealthy ingredients as much as I can. You know, organic, not canned, less corn syrup, etc.

  3. I was just giving you a hard time, man. You take me too seriously. 🙂
