Late night bad music.

I don’t get why anyone thought it was a good idea to have Johnny Cash on stage with the Monkees.

  1. The real question is, who thought having the Monkees on stage was a good idea?

Actually, who thought the Monkees was a good idea?

And, where is the fourth Monkee?

  2. This is from the short-lived “Johnny Cash Show”. It was a few years after the Monkees’ peak, and Peter Tork (the 4th Monkee) had already split.

Johnny’s show by all accounts look like it was pretty good, given the guests he had. Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominoes), Chet Atkins, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens…

I think Davy Jones (the short English Monkee) was on something, though. Jammy git.
