Tesla Roadster caught!

In continuation of Matt’s earlier post about the Tesla roadster, Autoblog has released a marketing video for this vehicle. It was filmed at the official unveiling party, and does include some clips of the car strutting it’s stuff.

The head of the company actually does address the previously raised point that a vehicle that costs over $80K isn’t really a direct means to an end of freeing us from the shackles of our gasoline prisons. It will be a show car for a select few. Unfortunately my guess is that this will also make it primarily a garage baby. I certainly don’t know of a lot of cars of that cost that are regular drivers. Nonetheless, I do trust that this is a step in the right direction.

  1. Awesome! I love seeing the car take off, but hearing virtually nothing. I like what the chairman said about the people buying this car helping to fund the mass-market car. I hope that happens.
