I imagine most everyone has seen this, but watching the last post reminded me of this pilot. It’s created by Andy Samberg and friends (now from SNL fame) known as The Lonely Island. Awesometown is another one of the ideas that came out of their overimaginative minds. Unfortunately it didn’t find it’s way onscreen, but for some of us it’s saved eternally in digital fame on our hard drives.

This is good shit. Their song, “The Heist“, is great as well. Hiring these guys was the best move SNL could have made.
Indeed. When they hired the Lonely Island crew, I actually started watching SNL again for the first time since Farley died.
