The Big Lebowski is a complex film that has inspired far more than it’s basic Chandler-esque detective story has any right to. From a traveling convention to articles comparing it to a model for Zen Buddhism, people have analyzed it and idolized as more than just a movie about bowling and the search for a rug that ties a room together.
